
Rare White Jade Temple Lion Toggle
This is a finely carved rare white jade temple lion, also known as a Foo dog. It is dated to the Qing dynasty and is most likely from the mid 1800s.. From the photos you can see the wonderful detail in this piece. This jade toggle is 2" long, 2" tall, and almost 1" wide. White jade of this type is quite rare and the apricot accents contribute to the quality of this piece. It is in excellent condition.
