Netsuke - Man Disguised as Turtle, Boxwood, Signed

A delightfully cleaver and unique boxwood netsuke of a man disguised as a turtle.  On one side it clearly looks like a turtle, but when you turn it over, you realize that it is a man. The carving features fine detail, which is especially evident in the facial expression.  This piece is 2" by 1/14" and is dated to the early 1900s.
