Jade Zun Vessel, Han Dynasty
This is a very rare, museum quality, light green nephrite jade wine vessel from the Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD). This vessel features four goat heads and was referred to as Yang Zun in Chinese. A jade piece of this quality would have been the property of Royalty. We were able to acquire this piece from a tomb excavation in Shaxi Province in China. This item has been cleaned of some of the dirt since it was photographed, so the item actually has a much finer presentation than is seen in these photos. It is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, or losses. It is 5 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide at the top. Truly a collectors item.
Price: $575. (#1033)
