Brass Bowl Engraved, circa late 1800s

This is an exceptional fine and unusual brass bowl from India.  All hand engraved, punched and hammered, it has excellent detail in the designs, including birds and foliage, as well as an unusual scalloped rim.  It is in very good condition for its age.  It is 4 3/4 inches in diameter and stands 2 3/8 inches high.  It is a solid piece, weighing half a pound.
